A new formula is used to calculate the GATE score

The three hour GATE exam was conducted in two days. The online test was conducted in 572 centres in 123 towns and cities on January 20, 2013. The offline exam was conducted in 992 centres in 183 towns and cities on February 10, 2013.

This year onwards, a new formula is used to calculate the GATE score. The formula is:
